NASA plan for unstable astronauts: Duct tape, tranquilizers

What would happen if an astronaut became mentally unstable in space and, say, destroyed the ship's oxygen system or tried to open the hatch and kill everyone aboard?

I find it funny that all these extensively trained NASA psychologists can't catch things that they get paid (and paid well) to do.

As for the duct tape, rofl, what happened to zip ties?
